10 days of riffs - recommend me some riffs to learn

So I feel like I'm a bit stuck in a rut musically so I'm going to do 10 days of riffs.

Recommend me some riffs to learn. I'm I guess an intermediate rock player if that makes any difference, but happy to consider suggestions outside my comfort genres as long as they're actual riffs (not interesting in strumming, solo/lead work, arpeggios etc).  If the riff isn't the iconic part of the song that you recommend then please include a youtube video with time where I can hear the riff.

I'll post back each day which riff Ive learned.

Jacobs Ladder by Rush. Weird time signatures, shifting rhythmic dynamics, what’s not to like.

Just took 15 mins and this one is fun, only got up to the phrase just after the slide so will need to do a bit more work tonight but this uses a lot of the style of hammer on / pull off playing i use but in a very different rhythmical way. Its getting the phrasing right that is taking the time for me...any way great first choice.

Not the most complex at all but Cars by Gary Numan. If you find his live versions from the last few years on YouTube the main synth riff is usually played by guitar.
There is a secondary slightly twiddlier riff as well, there aren't really any solos or strummy bits in the song.
There's a Fear Factory version which, I think, is in something like drop D.
Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.

  • Intro/Verse riff in Blood and Thunder by Mastodon. I’ve been trying to nail it at full speed since yesterday. In D standard.

Here is a simple one, mainly with power chords, which you will be able to play quite quickly:-

    Ronnie James Dio Holy Diver

This is the original title track:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EhGEGIBGLu8

    Here is the tablature:- https://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/dio-holy-diver-tab-s23730t0

This dude plays a Fender Stratocaster, but he manages to capture the original Gibson Les Paul sound of Vivian Campbell:-

    YOU MUST WATCH THIS

Here is the Rock Chick band, Burning Witches, with Holy Diver.

I give them 500% for effort. Nice to see the ladies play heavy metal.

This.  Sounds like '70s Aerosmith and is, I think, utterly wonderful.
