    Excellent , thanks for posting that. Never heard that before. He’s very much in charge there, and giving a bit of direction to Mick and Christine too. 

    Was he still on the Marshalls at that point or had he moved on to Orange or Fender amps?

    There is that vocal quality to the lines and that tone is biting yet not thin. 

    I was watching some Tim Pierce stuff where he talks about the best electric guitar tones being from a loud amp with the instrument played gently and it seems like that kind of thing to me - sounds aggressive but that’s really letting the amp do the work, if you actually are aggressive  you just choke up the sound. 
    Tipton is a small fishing village in the borough of Sandwell.
