    On the list of bands where the guitarist is a better singer than the singer the two that spring to mind are Ash and Oasis.

    If we are expanding to bass players then Melissa auf de Maur is a much better singer than Courtney Love and often the one you can hear on the record.

    I would disagree with that one! I'm a big Spirit fan, I have most of their albums on vinyl, I spent an age tracking them down in the 80s. He definitely wasn't a great singer! He was intrinsic to the Spirit sound though.
