  • Another vote for Robert Cray, but if we want a name that hasn't been mentioned in the thread yet, try this young lad - 21 years of age but what a soulful voice - Christone "Kingfish" Ingram. Great young blues talent.

Ooh, how could I have missed Ian Thornley of Big Wreck and another +1 for Richie Kotzen and Keith Urban

Nils Lofgren. Really like his solo stuff and he has a whimsical musicality to his vocals.
    Found this.

    My trading feedback

is it crazy how saying sentences backwards creates backwards sentences saying how crazy it is?

    Midge Ure

To the point where maybe people think of him as a singer who's good at guitar.

Surprised we've not had Mark Tremonti on here yet. He's got an incredible voice. Adds a lot in backing vocals (and a couple of leads) on Alter Bridge tracks; and his solo efforts are fantastic.

Richie Sambora and George Benson all the way. What stellar voices.

Joe is very cool, and he reminds me of another

  • I remember hearing Eric Johnson sing once and I was quite shocked at how good he was.

I was going to say Prince but I read it the wrong way round.

To my mind, he was the best combination of singer/guitarist there's been.

Wrapped in a Cloud is one of my favourite songs of his. It showcases his voices perfectly.

I'm also going to mention Oli Brown. If you've seen him live, then you know that boy can sing.

I was listening to some Tim Armstrong stuff earlier in the week, probably not a great technical singer but it's cool stuff.
