Starbelly have been forced to pull out of Saturday's gig due to an outbreak of COVID in the camp.  Myself and the other guitarist tested positive earlier this week which means that we most likely contracted at one of last weekend's gigs (probably Friday based on when we started to show symtoms).  I'm ok, just very bored, but other chap seems to have had it worse.  Oh well, at least the club have said that they'll re-book us for a future date.

This afternoon at The Millipede micro pub in Stapleford (nr Nottingham) with Gun Money. Semi acoustic gig, listening audience who love original material and a selection of really good local beers.

The Roughcut Rebels doing an acoustic gig for the landlords birthday this afternoon from 5pm at The Churchill Arms, West Lavington. Probably should have rehearsed the set acoustically first….

Borrowed time at the Swan Crawley on Saturday first full gig in 2 years, new line-up and last rehearsal was without drummer one before no singers no pressure then.

Gun Money are playing at Rowells Drinking Emporium (a micro pub) in Long Eaton nr Nottingham tonight. New venue and we’re the first band to do a Friday night there!

Our band The Airstreams are playing The Royal Oak Tunbridge Wells tonight as part of a multi band Ukraine benefit event.  This is the second one - so many bands and artists wanted to play the first date that a second one is required to fit everyone in.

And....  it was a great night.  Here's us in action, me on the right:

Approaching £3,000 raised across the two benefit nights. Pretty good for a small pub.   In part due to our bass players wife designing and selling these lovely Ukrainian themed T shirts:

Playing at Fennel Street Club in Loughborough tonight with the Gerry Farrow Band. It’s a fiver to get in and the support act is George Stackhouse.

Yep, someone has indeed organised a pissup in a brewery!

Starbelly are playing The Jubilee Club is Ashton-in-Makerfield tonight then The Black Dog Inn, Oswaldtwistle tomorrow.  I am, as usual, in the doghouse for being out two nights in a row.
