Advice re pick/plectrums please.

    I go .73 up to around .88 or so. I tend to play more with the rounded edges than the sharper leading edge. I play acoustic solely at present.

  • Well the verdict is in having spent a good while yesterday testing practically all suggested picks with the exception of felt ones the verdict is in:

    For acoustic strumming Jim Dunlop nylon .46 and/or Jim Dunlop .38 but .38 used with the broad end/corner strumming.
    For more precise picking and definition Jim Dunlop tortes flow .50

    For electric - completely different. Let’s not go there!

    A very interesting process to end up where I started but useful nevertheless.
