I think Avalon have some serious issues at moment,non guitar building related.check article in Belfast Telegraph. They have one hell of a pr job to sort out!

Im sure business will continue as normal for now,  I think this will have more consequences farther down the line.

Although it is frustrating, the delay is not that great compared to some other manufacturers. Don't worry, I'm sure it will be worth waiting for.

Whatever is happening in the background, they are an honourable company who will not let you down.

Finally:

Just waiting for final set up and the pick up installed. Can't wait. Unfortunately, I can't pay as the web page isn't set up for the new enhanced security for payment. Awaiting Steve's response.

Go on Mick, get that bit videoed. You will be an internet sensation  Actually only partly joking. My last  couple of high end guitars were delivered by courier ( a first for me ) . I got my wife to video the process just in case of carrier issues. It turns out that it's quite a nice thing to have, especially when first getting the case open and that first encounter.
