The ex FCS masterbuilder's new guitars are hitting the shops and they are $8k! Ouch! His pics on FB show that much like his Masterbuilt Fenders he doesn't do the bulk of the building himself. Dreadful headstock. I think GG are going to stock them over here.

It might have been interesting if he'd come up with something - other than the headstock - to differentiate his guitars from what he used to build at Fender.

Tbh, they are 8k and selling out straight away, if people are happy to buy, then win win.  They are likely amazing guitars to be fair.  He's verrrrry good at making great guitars.

I don't mind the headstock, but I don't have 8k

Looks alright but wouldn't personally spend £800 on its never mind £8k.

At least the Tyler headstock is interesting, and has been there from the earliest days of boutique builders. 

I don’t get these at all. Just an uglier Fenderor extra money

The headstock actually looks a bit like the Friedman headstock.  Which I also find fugly.

Headstock and the metal plaque are all sorts of wrong.

It's an 8k, 'designed for mass production' style guitar bolted together by a bloke with a reputation. It's been worked to look 'old' but is brand new and has no legacy.

It's just wrong on every level...

how many ways can you bolt a strat/tele neck to a body ?    the original way seems to have worked pretty well for over 60 years 

they're strats and teles,   even £5k is way too much
