I'm running about 10 minutes behind everyone else because I forgot....

Honestly I don't think I've heard any of this before.  It's not "my kind of thing" but I'm finding it very listenable.  Lots of samples, but used very creatively and the production sounds great.

This is all a lot more mellow than I was expecting.

Inertia Creeps has been my favourite thus far. All good though. Note to self. Must listen to some Cocteau Twins after this.
Probably start with the 'Heaven or Las Vegas' album
I was considering choosing Blue Bell Knoll for tonight, that would be my suggestion - but there's loads of good Cocteaus albums

And we're back! "Man Next Door" is, for me, the most iconic track on the album. I didn't even realise until I was looking into it today, but it's a cover version, of John Holt's "I've Got To Get Away" via The Slits, who covered it as "Man Next Door". It has a credited sample from The Cure, and an uncredited sample from a possibly even more famous source - can you spot it (without looking it up ;-) )

I think you mentioned the Cure connection the other day and it suddenly ear-wormed me a day later...won't mention the track ;)

This (and "Teardrop") are my favourites because, much as I love the atmosphere on other tracks, for me, I need a melody, and this is killer. Horace Andy's singing on this is so distinctive and matches the mood superbly
