There's a few quid's worth in the background there.

For an extra £5k he’ll come and play it in your front room, drink all your brandy then shag your daughter.
    Fixed that for you...
I knew that was coming.  The only question was who would post it.

There’ll be an Epi version along in a few months for a wallet-friendly 5k, I’m sure.
With a lovely bit of Indian laurel slapped on the neck.

This is usually where the savvy, realising its just wood and paint, go looking for the Japanese-made alternative.

Yeah, but it will have a LOT of CTS pots, so very good value actually. How much is a single CTS pot BTW? £200?

^^  I'm quite taken with the display of parts and hardware.  I'm a bit of a parts and hardware junkie.

The twin neck SG is massively overhyped, Page used it on, what, 3 songs ? Song Remains The Same, Rain Song and Stairway.

Lifeson played it very wel too.

If Gibson, or Epi, released just a 12 string SG, now that would be interesting.

Epiphone have done them in the past - I actually have several that I'm going to sell at some point, I don't know if they still do them though or if they are a stable in their line of models.  Though I will say, as somebody who has both Gibson and Epiphone versions, the Epiphone version is really not worth any money, yet alone what Epiophone or sellers are asking for them, there really is a huge difference between the Gibson and Epiphone versions.

I really like how they have displayed the pick, not that I would buy it, I just really like the display, and would actually consider buying just the display - I have a collection of picks that I have gotten over the years from guitarists that they have used though I haven't paid a single penny for any of them.

Please tell me you aren't overly interested in Jimmy Page's knobbing preferences?

According to this article, the stand is included (as we should be entitled to expect at that price!!)

    I don't think those knobs are Page-specific.

What a pointless thing. I like Led Zeppelin but this is so far from being cool. I’m sure the Musks and Bezos of the world will buy two each.

Well, I quite like it, along with the way Pagey has been involved and played & signed each one.
However, there is no way I would drop that sort of money on a guitar(s).
But I'm not in the market for £1m watches, rare whiskey, much sought after stamps, Nike trainers, and so-on either.
