D'you know what though, It rather suits him.  I think in a funny sort of way he's aged quite well.

That's more like an Afghan rug than a Persian one.

As an Authentic Persian. I approve this thread.

Now I need to pitch this to Gibson - a line of Gibson branded Persian rugs as authentic sound dampeners.

It's this Bill. Reiver by ACG - he's up in Moffat.  The purple Tele on the left is a refinished USA Fender and the one on the right is a USA Charvel - the finish is 'Satin Plum' to be precise :-)

Oh yes, I'm sure you mentioned Reiver Guitars / AC Guitars (Alan Cringean) in Moffat on a previous occasion and I looked him up.  RP003 Reiver 6.

Haha! That board was assembled just for the purpose of doing an OD pedal shootout. It looks very different now, I mean there’s at least two non-dirt pedals on there now!  Actually the Zendrive and Fulldrive Custom Shop are the only two from that pic that I still have, although I seem to have acquired other OD pedals in the meantime…  B)

I had a small Persian type carpet about 2’ x 4’  that felt velvety/flocky about 1984/5 I got it from the co op in Skegness
It was about £4 - £6 it was great as it was quite thin & you could roll it up easily . Wish I still had it
Do they still do ones like this Ive never seen them much
