I bought during a BGM sale a couple of years ago.

Something I was interested in was reduced (a bit), so I called them, had a chat, and ended up with something like another 10% off.

I think the "Sale" is to catch attention and generate a bit of traffic, but it's always worth the personal conversation to assess whether there's a bit more of a deal available.
Having trouble posting images here?  This might help.

    Albert Lee Music Man purchased...

I think there are some decent deals on. The Albert Lee was on offer at GAK for £449 (down from £5??). In the BGM sale it was £280. That seems like a genuinely bloody good deal to me!

Will make a decent beater/slide guitar methinks!

They should rename it the BTC next year.

    Boss Toenail Clippings.

Very poor, I’m ashamed for posting this.

Can we really call a blanket 10% "oh my god how mad is our boss?"
Up to 40% if you have a look around.

I looked on the website at 10am and there was a single Ramirez classical guitar with 40% off (and I already have a Ramirez so no good for me)! 5 items with 30% off and 23 items with 25% off.

The vast majority is 20% or less.

I'm not in the market for anything anyway, but was worth a look in case there was anything I fancied trying for a bargain price. No such luck!

I've had two guitars from BGM Sales in the past, both things I already had a desire for, so the deal tipped me over the edge.
A supro Sahara I think 20% off I was in the area anyway, tried it out, left, then ended up buying it online later that day.
And a squire Tele thinline (maybe £280?) at the start of lockdown when boredom had truly hit.

I’d be all over that Vintera 50s Tele at £739 if I hadn’t just bought another guitar very recently (plus I’m trying to keep the numbers down).
I play guitar because I enjoy it rather than because I’m any good at it

Only on TFB could we moan about a sale.

It's my favourite guitar shop to visit.

The BOSS has never been mad, he's an incredibly astute multi millionaire who lives in a lovely old manor house fit for a rock star near my cousin. Great marketing and a lovely shop.
