    Yeah maybe me too! That being said, there does seem to be quite a range of weights, even for 4-strings. You can get 4-strings well under 9lbs if you look around... or quite a bit over. 9lbs for a 5, like @Rich31k 's one, isn't too bad! I have 4 strings heavier than that...

    I just saw what you referred to. It's a 4 string and I'm more into 5s unfortunately. Shame because the price is decent and I'm in Hertfordshire as well  :/ Sods law.
