  • Thought it looked ok but expecting it to be silly money.

    Pleasantly surprised.

  • For 50 quid that's not bad.

If it sounds good, anyway! That's peavey bandit money, which is bullet proof, loud and will take your pedalboard well.

    Bit bigger and heavier mind...

Not impressed with the audio demos so far [as in not mic'd by a Shure '57].

Remember, it's easier to criticise than create!

I heard it live over the weekend and it sounded pretty good. I could imagine having it on the couch and on long trips without the luggage. I've had micro amps (orange, marshall & fender) and non comes close to this. I would think it will be quite popular.

I got one as a gift.  It's pretty dang good actually.

Mine is the stand-alone one, and I'm going to get the extension cab (£19.99).  I'm a bit pee'd off at the price of the PSU, though, at £19.99.  You can buy a bundle of all 3 items for £79.99, so obviously to buy them as separates is another ten quid,

6v 1.5a I think, with a fairly standard looking round plug?  I'm no sparky.

It's good, but quite "dark" sounding..?

Was playing my JM Jazzmaster and was really wanting a treble control and to turn it up.

That said I found two exceptional sounds: For clean, rhythm circuit on & for lead channel, bridge pickup all the way. Jazzy/pop cleans to Paranoid crunch.

Never really appreciated delay as an effect either but it really suits this amp.

Well I had £50 of Christmas amazon vouchers to burn and took up one of these. It's not really fair to compare it my Marshall MS2 as its almost twice the price and twice the size but anyway, compared to my Marshall MS2 it's in a different league.
The surprise is the clean channel on maxed gain, lovely little breakup tone and best of all the dynamic feel of it at all settings is amp like. It is a little dark maxed out in the "UK" setting but it's easy to find the sweet spot with each guitar.

    Great sofa companion, very impressed.

  • I got one for xmas and have been enjoying it.  It can sound a bit dark and muffled (especially on the OD channel) but I've managed to coax some decent sounds out of it.

It's great for hooking up with my phone and playing stuff from spotify and youtube.  I've enjoyed a good few hours playing along to backing tracks the last few days.

It works quite well as a portable speaker for an mp3 player as well.

Got one today from Dawsons. Played it in the shop and really liked it. Granted it's not a full amp, but it's just what I've been looking for noodling on the sofa. I normally use a smokey, but it's a bit too fuzzy depending on what I want to play, and destroys batteries.

So should have been ace right? Well no. I asked the shop assistant if it took a std centre negative 9v supply and she said yes. Should have checked myself I guess. I have no batteries in the house, and haven't found any PSAs in the house that meet the specs or fit.

    Ragin.

Think I'm just going to take it back out of bloody mindedness.

What kind of adapter does it use?
