Thanks. I may well need to also have some new electricity points put in since there are none along the wall where the amps and cabs will sit, but hopefully that's not a hard task to have done.

You did a great job building the guitar storage units. Electricity is a different animal entirely so get an electrician to do that work for you.

Oh have no fear. I don't understand electricity. I can't see it and its like black magic to me. I wouldn't even contemplate simple things let alone installing plug sockets!!

@ennspek - I shit you not, I've never done anything like this before. Its just taken a little time to think things through before committing to each stage. but I don't have any DIY skills really.

Honestly, its worth giving a project a go if you've got one on your mind. Plenty of people here, me included, would be more than happy to help with ideas and advice I'm sure.
