That's a big wow for being that old Chilli.

I remember Wimpy, they gave you greasy plates and steel cutlery, more like a little Chef than a fast food chain, it seems weird today.  Then the roadsides started cluttering up with non biodegradable foam and Wimpy took a by pass.

I always hated towns though unless we were pulling under age chicks and drinking vodka around the market square when were 14 or 15 or dancing out of our minds on drugs when we were in our later teens.  These little cultural delights passed me by.  They do now as I avoid towns unless I have the dentist.  I like my Romanian dentist, I think she is just as confused about the place as I am.

Edit: It was in 1977, in Gulfport, Mississippi. The truck stop ressie outside the dock gate was far better. As was pretty much every other place.
