We had the usual daily (software) progress meeting at work yesterday. We call it StandUp not 'cos it is funny, but we stand for it to keep it short.

When asked about my progress I started with "The only bloke who got the job done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe ...". There was a second or two pause, then the Head of Engineering (Simon) and the chap who takes care of the customers (Andrew) both laughed loudly as if they hadn't heard it before and all the other engineers stood there wondering what was so funny. On the way out Andrew said he'd not heard it before and he reckoned the other engineers were not as well read as him & Simon. Maybe, or they had heard it so many times before that it genuinely wasn't funny ...

@Phil_aka_Pip ; has a point. I get it's Banksy but it's not funny. He was obviously in with the gallery and perhaps the vendor.  It was a cheap stunt to make money  ..
