Bad enough that England were all out after 33 overs, but then Sri Lanka clattered us in only 25!  And finished with a shot for 6, just to run salt in the wound...

I looked at the score when India were 40-3 and thought "salvaged a bit of pride at least" so when I saw the final score I'll admit to a slight guffaw. 

Just watched the highlights, goodness me England are woeful. Will struggle to make the Champions Tour at this rate.

All Stokes had to was calm down and sit there for five or six overs but it's not in his mindset.

Suggested new format for the next World Cup.
This World Cup has 45 group games, semi and finals for 10 teams

Rugby World Cup has the same number of games for 20 teams, but uses 4 groups of 5 

I suggest Cricket follows the Rugby format

Only the winners of each group would play in the semi finals 

Winners Group A meets Winners Group B

Winners Group C meets Winners Group D

Obviously the two winners would be in the final

I have thought long and hard and think the following 4 groups would be ideal as we want the final to be between the two best teams and didn’t want any group to seem weaker or stronger than another  

Group A	Group B	Group C	Group D
Australia	Afghanistan	Ireland	England
India	Bangladesh	Namibia	Channel Islands
New Zealand	Holland	Oman	Isle of Scilly
Pakistan	Sri Lanka	Scotland	Falkland Islands
South Africa

Wonderful cricket and a well deserved win .
There last two games they have only lost 5 wickets.
