Question for @rossyamaha and @digital_igloo

My band use IEMs. Would I be able to have guitar, mic and iem mix into the helix a mix of all three coming out of the headphones but individual mic and guitar outputs going to the mixing desk?

There is a video on the helix website, towards the end the differences are explained, it is mainly just more IO

What’s the difference between Helix and Helix Rack?

Along with the Helix Control remote, Helix Rack’s workflow and feature set is virtually identical to that of Helix. Plus you get duplicate expression pedal jacks, a 1/4” analog bypass (buffered) output, AES/EBU in, and Wordclock in with terminator switch. 

I think that having the big screen on the floor might make it easier to use when playing, but obviously lots of bending over etc to tweak.

Another question for @rossyamaha and @digital_igloo

Is it possible to arrange for a demo of the Helix through a set of Yamaha HS-5//7/s at the demo weekend in Soho? 

I expect that I'll be replacing my Mesa with monitors once my Helix arrives so that I can take full advantage of the modelling and stereo output options for home use. I'd like to get an idea of how it sounds with home studio gear though, as all of the demos I'm hearing/seeing so far are either through high-wattage FRFR systems, or using valve amps.

Talking of which - @Drew_fx am I right in thinking you use/used to use some Rokit RP's for monitoring at one point?

My lips are sealed. Major Thorpe insisted on level 4 security clearance before I test drove it. But if you like low gainers you may be in luck. However will say, genuinely, due to my dads situation, I've not had the chance to play with it like I wanted to but it has great clarity and sparkle.
