Clint Eastwood, as an actor, has made lots of films I really like.

Clint Eastwood, as a director, I find is generally best avoided... at least in recent years.

Any of the Human Centipede films. I'm okay with horror usually but the idea of those films sickens me enough that I'll just avoid them.
No real need to avoid them (although I've only seen the first one so can't really comment on 2). Laughably bad film IMO and the actor who plays the bad guy overacts like crazy. The idea is definitely disturbing but it's handled so poorly that it ends up being more like Peter Jackson's "Bad Taste".

Really? Sterling director as far as I can recall. Like owt else tho, that's why life's interesting.

He's highly competent, no doubt about that, but his films are all so "worthy" - heavy handed and utterly humourless.  Stolid.

I'm not saying every film in the world should be light entertainment or a barrel of laughs, I just find his work very dull.  The last really good film he made was Unforgiven, and even that's a bit overrated.

Anything fantasy, sci fi, musicals, rom coms, or martial arts really.
No Conan? No Ghostbusters, Jurassic Park or Event Horizon? No Sweeny Todd? No Sean Of The Dead? No Kung Fu Hustle or The Matrix?

There must be so many fails in your cinematic life.
If you consider me missing those listed in your list a fail by your standards, so be it. Everyone has their own tastes so arbitrarily using the word "Fail" is bad form IMO.

My main interest is film noir. I have seen parts of some of the above and found them not to my taste at all  but I can see how many would enjoy them.

I wouldn't dream of classifying anybody not watching unappealing (to them)  films to have "failed" at anything.

Films where you have to pay a ridiculous amount of money for a bog-standard seat in front of a small-ish screen with the volume too loud and some inbred behind you either using their phone, talking or eating something that smells like it came out of the "failed" pile from the medical experimentation lab.

You could buy a better sofa and a bigger TV or maybe just go to the cinema!

I did avoid that movie about the 9/11 aeroplane. United-something. I thought it would be a bit too real.

Apart from that, anything that is said to be "so bad it's good". There is no such thing.

I sat through that and wished I hadn't. It was awful, boring and all conjectured. Not at all credible. I suspect it was a way of profiting from a real life tragedy which is something Hollywood are always keen to do.

Moulin Rouge - got 5 minutes in - nope. Actually most musicals tbh - cannot stand them, also cannot stand anything remotely 'dance' related

"Come and See".. that is just too real and therefore truly disturbing.

Any gorenography, I just cannot stomach it. Life's shitty enough as it is without sitting down to watch people being ripped apart for 'entertainment'.  unless it's sooo.. tongue-in cheek . i,e, like Bad Taste.

Mama Mia.. , Sex in the City.... oh Lord NO!

And finally... any Michael Bay movie
