    Looks like a great pedal

It's quite surprising, but there really isn't anything else quite like this on the market.

In terms of the pedal's functions, it actually looks like a cut-down version of the Digitech Timebender.

Of course, that's minus the control functionality.

Yeah there are a few other things that can do similar things, but it's the combination of reasonably small footprint, no stupid power requirements and MIDI control which makes it unique.

Though the dd-500 stands alongside I think.

    Both look excellent.

Only 3 tap divisions is a no no for me. But other than that, it looks great.

I might be wrong here, or thinking of another pedal.

But I think the tap works in conjunction with the time knob, so it is more.

    Or did I dream it?

That's how it looks, although on the demo I've seen it didn't explain that ( or the presets).

Looks like a great unit. I was pretty intent on getting two of these earlier in the year. Not so sure now due to finances and the Helix being announced, and whether I actually need any more gear (answer: I don't) ...

From the SA president on TGP:

We are getting very close. I actually have my hands on final production unit number 1. Beta testers should finally be getting their units next week. Fortunately, the delays in getting production hardware finalized allowed us to put much more time and thought into both the control interface and the primary 12 sounds and the secondary 12 sounds. We have spent lots of time with all kinds of vintage and modern delay equipment in our labs and beyond to ensure we are on the right track with expected sounds......... and unexpected sounds!

One new development is in presets. There are 128 presets now, up from 4. 8 of them are accessed via 2 banks of 4 on the main control surface. 120 of them are accessed via sending MIDI PC messages.

The Neuro app will follow behind the pedal by a few weeks. This will allow for deep editing of a big list of parameters on your phone.

Stereo processing. From what we can tell, most stereo delay pedals simply invert the phase of channel 2 to provide stereo imaging. We have created lots of stereo sounds which employ a wide variety of stereo imaging techniques, such as ping-ponging off the delay lines. At NAMM we are going to have 100% stereo pedal board for our demo stands and our stage. Lots of fun sounds!

This product has been a massive undertaking. Making a great and flexible delay pedal is much harder than we had planned. The end is near! Thank you all for being patient with our creative process.

I really think the new "updated" look is much better than the "old" boring grey box. To me it really seems like a great versatile delay in a small footprint and I would probably go for one if I hadn't had the Strymon Timeline.

  • I've watched a couple of YouTube clips, although they were quite limited this seems a great do it all delay. Anybody seen any idea on cost?
