The CTS pots vary in quality though. I recommend you buy from AllParts, WD Music or Bare Knuckle rather than a smaller outlet.

Use Bugger-Allparts for the wire too: cloth core braided outer ... don't bother with the braided stuff with the plastic core ... you can't solder it to pot backs properly without melting the insulation.
