Can I be really boring and ask more about the neck profile?  You mentioned it's a C shape, but how thick (approx) at the 1st and 12th frets?  And what's the fret size?

Go easy on me, at least I didn't say anything about the weight.  Oh damn, now I have...

I mentioned the weight earlier... Its nice and light at 7lb 2 1/2oz.


I will measure the neck later to confirm, but I seem to remember it being about 22mm deep at the first fret and frets are a fairly standard medium/medium. Its all good comfy average sizes. Will confirm properly after GOT

okay, broke out the profile gauge.  its only a cheap plastic one for doing skirting s its not  perfect representation

Nut is 43.5mm wide and 21.3mm deep

22nd fret is 57mm wide

12th fret is 23.3mm deep

Wide Thin C, depending on the font you use

Fretwire will be stew-mac #148.  which they describe as "For acoustic or electric guitar. The most popular wire for refretting Martin, Fender, Guild, Gibson and other guitars."

Thanks for taking the trouble to do that, Wez.  Neck's a little on the skinny side... but I do like everything else about it.

Tbh, its my attempt to appeal to more people by having a neck that's not too fat or too skinny or too asymmetric or too v shaped or too D shaped.

I think you've probably succeeded, it looks a nice rounded C and just that bit chunkier than a modern Fender.  Should suit a lot of people.
