I think there was a problem with the emails - it should work now but tbh, it was only a welcome message.

You can check that you are registered by going to the Members Page - if it shows, you are, if not it'll ask you to log in. If that doesn't work just register again instead. I don't think there were any problems other than some muppet forgetting to switch the email on (ahem)
