Stunning job Andy. I like the fact that it doesn't look like an 'off the peg' Gibson as such. Maybe it's just me but that looks like one of a kind. Superb.

That looks much better. The only two additional things I would do would be to change the nut and tuner pegs to cream ones .

ohh and also change the plates to black and apply a Les Paul decal to the headstock.

The owner has some trad green klusons he is going to be fitting himself.  He also supplied the plates so I'd better stick with those

Definitely way better looking than the trans white IMO.  I agree with fnpt that it would look better with black cover plates, but looks like the original ones were black so easy enough to change back if the owner comes to his senses changes his mind.
