Delays, where do you put yours?

Always in the loop for me - I can't stand that grainy sound you get from putting it before the amp (since I use a lot of gain on the amp). I also don't want to have to set up separate delay settings for clean, crunch and lead gain levels, because it's a right pain in the ass.

Used to be last in signal chain, but ever since I've tried it in the loop that's where it has to go, before reverb, after chorus/phaser. However the FX-8 allows splitting the effects to run in parallel so reverb and delay are set to do that, though I tend to use amp reverb if I have it.
Unless I want to make GYBE type epic soundscapes. That's a whole different ball game.
