Given what 80s Skins were like it delights me that their style has been copied by the gay scene.

I wasn't around but talking to most ex skinheads that I've known I don't feel the racism or violence on the whole.  Maybe that was the minority.

    Interestingly my initials are SS.

i've always found it strange when groups of people use Nazi symbolism who would have been persecuted themselves.
Is it more for show in the gay scene or are there legit "believers" ?

I thought it was one of the best things on BBC4 for a while - and without the pious, revisionist overtones of some of their stuff.

My old band used to get some unwanted attention from the nazi boys - we played old school punk and new wave. We played one gig where we actually had to stop part-way through 'Kids are United' by Sham69 - its utterly amazing how these knuckle-draggers can read entirely the wrong meaning into a song. I used to have to do the backing vocals on Staring at the Rude Boys, including the "Never Surrender" shouts, which sometimes gained salutes from the crowd. Truly vile.

    Who knows?

What I will say is this: gay people are more inclined to fulfill wan* fantasies. Once fulfilled, the next one is more intense and so on.

When I read the 88 explanation I immediatly thought the 88mm flak was named specifically for that reason.  Then I did a bit of research and it predates Hitler.  This leads me to believe that Hitler became leader because of the gun.

Romper Stomper is a great skinhead film. Really good. Think it was Russell Crowe's first film.

This Is England - more great skinhead stuff.

Sorry Gassage, it ain't doing it for me.

I haven't seen The Believer but have seen Made in Britain - got that mixed up with This is England...

Will look out for it - I don't know who Gosling is though as I don't watch many films!

Those lads Gassage posted need a good feed by the looks of things.  They're a bit emaciated looking.

Always be yourself! Unless you can be Batman, in which case always be Batman.
My boss told me "dress for the job you want, not the job you have"... now I'm sat in a disciplinary meeting dressed as Batman.
