Sprocket will NOT get into a crate. It just doesn't happen. She is very hard to move once she's set her feet at the right positions.
    Use this- Sprocket wrench.

Ha! I can imagine - not exactly lightweight dogs are they?

Poppy has always been absolutely mad for hers. We'll probably get rid of the house crate eventually - but it's not really in the way on the landing and we leave it open for her to come and go as she pleases, so no need to get rid of it right now.

29kg now, but much harder to push over than that suggests. We met some Bernese in Keswick that were the same size but 40kg - she's mostly fur.

29kg is NO JOKE. Poppy is a paltry 14kg and even she is hard to push about when she doesn't want to move as her legs are just pure muscle.

Especially when she jumps onto the bed. All 29kg applied directly to the nethers. Ooof.

Do you have a Bernese, Sporky?
If so I need to ask you some questions- we are considering one for our next dog.

No, Old English Sheepdog. But I do like Bernese. They're so solid and yet so fuzzy!

    Yes they are gorgeous.
I'm concerned about lifespan- they are reported to be very short lived.
But the same was said about a Bulldog and Scarlett is nearly 11 and going strong.

Dogs me or my family have had since I was born:

    Corgi's:1
    Pointers: 1
    Springers: 2.
    Dobermann: 1
    Ridgebacks: 2
    Labs: 2
    Labradoodles: 1

Out of those, I'd have another Doodle all day long. They are utterly amazing dogs- intellect is huge.

I'd also have another Ridgeback, but hell, they can be feisty and powerful.

Personally, always had bitches, never a dog. (pun away).

    It'd be like owning - and driving - something from a 70s sci-fi fillum.

I have to admit to actually approving of its mojo. It's rather like gigging a Kaye.

Wowsers, that's the only one for sale too.  I must admit I had a quick look at the C6, there are ~700 still around, of which 11 are currently on Autotrader.

Yours deffo pips it for rarity value, although unlike a pre CBS Fender, it doesn't seem to have done much for the monetary value :)

I've got 2 ridgeback crosses. Amazing dogs they really are, apart from 40kg of dog landing on the crown jewels and they can have such an attitude it is unreal.

Would never trust them off lead either, insane prey drive, combine that with a laser and you get hours of fun.

I think you should buy it.

and hey, lay of the Kay man.....I gigged one of those many a time in the 80s. The Kay Gun, also know as the Powersound Chopper (great name) or the K45. It was great.

Well probably not, but that's how I remember it

£90 from ED Brown in BLackburn, that then became Rimmers! Another great name....

I used to say, hey mate, fancy a wrangle with my Powersound Chopper from Rimmers?????
