I don't wish to alarm you but Nevermind was 1991, which was 25 years ago.
25 years before 1991 was 1966.
The major albums of that year were Revolver, Pet Sounds and Blonde on Blonde.
I had discovered those albums around that time I reckon and I absolutely would have thought of them as 'retro'.

teeth whitening, hair buns, shaved legs etc don't bother me...it's the men who get bossed around by their wives that get on my wick. my brother for example can't even take a shit without his wife's permission. he can shave his legs and dress in drag all he wants, but his lack of independence is alarming. she is quite attractive though, which is why he's willing to sacrifice his own welfare for her. at 43 years old, with a drooping belly and a receding hairline he can hardly do better..

No woman, child or animal is worth that much sacrifice.  Looks are superficial, I'd bury her if I was him.  I've seen that destroy so many men.  Then, if they weren't like it when they hooked up, then fair enough, but chasing someone because you are lonely, they only have themselves to blame I guess.
