Getting old is a funny thing. I heard some kids talking about Nirvana a while ago, one of them said "yeah it's this amazing retro stuff."
25 years before 1991 was 1966.
The major albums of that year were Revolver, Pet Sounds and Blonde on Blonde.
I had discovered those albums around that time I reckon and I absolutely would have thought of them as 'retro'.
