Wednesday night...what are you having for tea?

What's Hot
Wife and daughter are out, so I'm making the lad a homemade quarter pounder burger with some cheesy fries and I'm having a plated up leftover roast pork dinner, microwaved to hell!

What's on your midweek menu?

Bangers & mash for us. The Mrs will have brown sauce, I'll have minty gravy and English mustard.

  • Chili. Made it yesterday, so the flavours should have had time to develop. Got a nice bottle of beer chilling too.

Hmmm. Thickest steak I can find on the way home, Napalmed for a minute or so on each side and maybe with a reasonable beer too.

(I wasn't going to have anything but you've got me hungry now.)

What is this "left over Xmas chocolate" you speak of? Ours has always gone by new year. Unless it's the orange and raspberry creams from a box of Roses, (no one actually eats those do they?)

We're having lamb steaks, garlic mash and veg.

MrsTheWeary has yet to open her Chocolate Battleships ( not a euphemism) and I've still got a chilli chocolate pizza (!) that hasn't been desirable with anything else at all available as an alternative. Alternatively there's a Xmas pudding we bought very cheap in January and a whole Aldi stollen still in the cupboard.
