Does anyone else get the shivers if you touch a rough surface, like unglazed ceramic ?  Or wince at the sound of fingernails on a blackboard ?  WTF is that all about ?  I'm ok with the blackboard thing, but hand me a plate with an unglazed ring around the base and I'm very likely to just drop it instinctively !

What tactile / aural stimuli make you go all funny ?

Strange thing is I've got three cats and scooping up their mess out of the litter tray is just something you do.Obviously with a scoop though,and not my hands,however the smell still makes me gag.

No it's not !  It only gets a bit unpleasant when the poo in question is either so mindbogglingly smelly that it permeates through the bag, or if it's rather runny and difficult to pick up and you attempt to grab the surrounding grass and a finger goes through the bag.  Other than that, it's alright.  It's great in winter as you can pop it in your pocket and keep your hands warm.

The whole dog poo thing doesn't bother me at all, and I've got a fucking massive Rottie that does fucking massive Rottie poos. Can I touch cotton wool though? Nooooooooo! Sends a shiver down my spine.

The sight of holes. Lots of them together, as in medical conditions, blisters etc. Fucking horrible.

Both make my skin crawl (even typing this). Yes I'm a bit weird.

Just the sight of rice pudding makes me want to hurl.
I'm ok at a distance of around 10ft but closer than that and i can't guarantee i'll be ok.

Cotton wool makes me shudder and flying midges in the summer make me look like i need a straight jacket.

Wow...  this is more extensive than I thought !  I thought it was just going to be the usual suspects, fingernails & blackboards etc, but dangling cotton and chewing wool ??

It's not exactly the same thing but, I can't stand anyone touching the undersides of my forearms.  It's horrible - like the worst tickling ever.

Thankfully not. I had very bad athlete's foot as a kid and I think it stems from there. I had those little blisters everywhere and when the skin fell off the raw flesh was peppered with holes. I'll have to stop there because I'm itching all over my body.
