Used to hate cotton wool, but I unravel the little balls to make wicks for vaping with no trouble. That old big cylinder you used to pull it off though, no thank you.

    As mentioned polystyrene

And I have a mild phobia of buttons. Since I was a kid. No cardigans for me
    My V key is broken

Once in infants school, I started pulling faces when we were singing Jingle Bells or something.  I remember seeing cotton wool snow everywhere and imagined chewing a ball of it - ewww! astonished

One day I'm going to pick up a warm dog shit with my bare hands and wipe it on the kind of person who watches their dog shit right in front of people, next to the £80 dog shit fine sign, then waltz off.

Or maybe I should just film them and send it to the council, with a picture of them getting into their car.

Cotton wool snow though - nightmare when I was 5!

polystyrene = the vilest material on earth.
i hate the smell too so currently plotting how to replace the padded polysterene insides of an abs case i bought with something non-polystyrene. corrugated card & thick funfur/velour maybe. but if i even open it to look at it i have to open all the windows for hours after.
also if i'm at someone's house & they get a delivery of a tv or fridge i have to ask them kindly not to open it until i'm gone. & then they look at me like i'm thoroughbred mental (used to it, thanks).
that piss-yellow foam in furniture i hate too. hate.

heavy steel (fancy designer) spoons chinging against my teeth i can't stand. plastic cutlery squeaky bad too. spoon-choosing is trauma.

cling film. cotton wool in my mouth. rubber stuff dentist uses for making teeth cast. silicon-coated handles on things. aqueous cream bp. squeeky minced beef or cheese when i used to eat that stuff. .

    a lot of things.

I'm with you on that. The mrs was trying to get me to help her bake some bread, and I was totally up for it until it got to the kneading stage. Having all that sticky dough on my hands just did my head in. Couldn't stand it.

    Y'all just wierd :dizzy:

Going anywhere near a "hand car wash" and seeing what the operators do to cars leaves me rocking on my haunches.  I can sense the feeling of the grit being dragged over the paint in my jawbone.

  • That ridged surface you get on those pictures that move when you tilt them. (Is it called a "lenticular" picture?).
