As someone who's received nothing today - bar a letter confirming when I'll be admitted for eye-surgery - I feel a tad disappointed by this anti-climatic ending....

I've only ever had one valentine's card from an unknown source.  It was left on my desk when I worked in the DVLA in the 90's.  I nagged everyone skinny to tell me who it was, but never found out.  I'm pretty sure it must have been some kind of pisstake though.
