I've gone through fairly intense periods of listening to his stuff at one time or another. Just a few weeks back, watching Hunt For The Wilderpeople,The Partisan popped up on the soundtrack, and I was off again.

Funnily enough I've only just learnt to play "Suzanne" properly, after 30 years of playing something that sounded a bit like it.
Even so, that song gave me one of my favourite gig moments when I played it in an impromptu duet with a pretty girl with a lovely voice in a different country. Magical song and magical memories of it.
Thanks LC, RIP
So many memories, especially around Christmas 1973. Stuck in a shitty bedsit in Chorlton-cum-Hardy, couldn't afford to go home for Xmas, listening to "Songs of Love and Hate"...
RIP indeed.
RIP Mr Cohen.

He was real dude as well.
It's Leonard Cohen vinyl, pizza and red wine tonight. And maybe more tears.
