One of these would do. (Right handed version for me though)
Ibanez Universe UV 777 BK.

(The Gretsch and the Ltd are now for sale.....advert going up soon or PM me)
It's had a clean up with all new genuine Ibanez parts including all screws just about everywhere and today I unwrapped a brand new genuine scratchplate for it from Alan at pickup magnet on eBay. I buy stuff from Alan a lot he's a great guy, really helpful.
It's going to Jon at @FelineGuitars this week to be set up and have some nice upgrades fitted and the new scratchplate with some Ibanez Sure Grip III knobs to finish it off. I already fitted the carbon tremolo arm (The Iron label didn't stand a chance of keeping it once this arrived home) and with the work Jon puts into this it's going to finish the rest of the guitar off into a stage ready monster.
It's already a lot of fun to play. My hand fits the neck fine, the 7th string is starting to make some sense (I'm in standard tuning) and it's the Steve Vai signature guitar I always really wanted. I bought it from a friend who recently bought it from a Member here. I collected it for him, took it home and then spent a few weeks paying him for it after falling in love with it. He every kindly let me have it and I'm really very grateful to him for that. It's a stunning thing for me to own.
Very soon it will be stunning in every way.
I've a Mk1 USA model and a Mexican model. Both fantastic instruments. Always wanted the Japanese black paisley model but they're so rare and overpriced it's simply not worth it.
Can't see why they didn't continue making these as I think a lot of people would love one.
I really don't understand Gibson these days. Even as a non-signature version (or just bringing back the P90 ES-335 without Bigsby) this seems to make sense in the product range as an interesting variant of a classic model.
Anyhow, you're very lucky to have one. Odd thing is that I haven't seen Luther use one very much. I think he got the deal when he was still with the Crowes. He's in a much more acoustic phase these days and, when he does play electric, he seems keen on full-hollowbodies. I guess he's keeping this one back for his next loud band!

It is the equivalent of £20,000.
The others are a Fender Dave Murray Strat and a ESP Kirk Hammett, both already owned.

First stop - I'd buy a Paul Gilbert signature Ibanez PGM301:

I've always been a sucker for this ESP bass too - a signature model for ex-UFO and Yngwie Malmsteen bassist Barry Sparks:

And I'd take a Suhr Scott Henderson sig as well.

And a CS Danny Gatton Tele:
