I've been on the hunt for an ES Gibson, ideally a ES-330, but I've not managed to raise all the funds I need to buy the lovely pristine one that I'm hoping to buy. (So buy my guitars!) However, I've never been put off by a well repaired neck break on a Gibson - not least because it then means I cease worrying about being the guy who breaks it. So I've been looking out for one, but haven't seen one anywhere. Where are they all? I used to see broken headstock Gibsons for sale quite regularly but I hardly see them now. What's happened to them? Have the values dropped so much people are just keeping them? Has everybody else worked out that pre-broken eases Gibson headstock anxiety?
Or maybe they've stopped breaking?

In 2008 I had a really great 330 with a repaired neck break and an aftermarket Bigsby and I sold it for 3k, which would absolutely never happen now.
