I know artists have to take their experiences and turn them into tunes/product but I think it takes courage to strip herself bare in these pieces about her gossiped over love affair.
I shall continue in blissful ignorance

Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after youI also don't watch Graham Norton, usually, so I'll have to check this out on iPlayer - thanks!
If you don't know, she's Tuck Andress's niece, and she did roadie-type stuff on his tours when she was young, so she's had expert finger-picking advice that she doesn't put to use that often.
My Trading Feedback | You Bring The Band
Just because you're paranoid, don't mean they're not after youThe one I discovered her with was Actor, her second album, and because of that I think it's my default favourite. Here's a performance from Letterman around that time:
But that's just me.
Most of the stuff I can find is from around the time of her eponymous album in 2015, for example an extended set for Letterman:
and a festival appearance the following year - you can see the sort of theatrical cool growing as time goes on, and this one has also got more of the extreme fashion she's started getting into. Amazingly confident opening to this one, and all the fancy dancing and hand movements in full effect:
This is from the album/tour she did with David Byrne and a lot of brass players:
And here's a very old one that proves that she can rock out (a slightly Hendrixy cover of Dig a Pony):
Apart from that I'm still getting my head around the new one, and enjoying the process a lot. Have a look on YouTube, I'd say.
Terrible, hideous shit.
Sorry.

Art for art's sake?
She certainly seems very polarising on guitar fora though, she sends half of TGP into paroxysms of disapproval.
Very quirky stuff. Interesting, but doesn't appeal to me too strongly (can't stand the tone of that vile 70s guitar either)
