It's not only a hobby as I get paid for shows, but I treat it as a paid hobby rather than a 2nd job.
Books, props, DVDs etc. I love it!

And actually I haven't bought so many guitars the last two or three years, so maybe I do spend more on Blu-rays.
I was really into magic for a couple of years - like anything, practice is much more important than gear but my god some of it is cool (especially as you never quite know what you'll get when ordering!)
Photography for me. I love it - I don't have horribly expensive gear but it's far from cheap.

Saying that I used to do a lot of trackdays and hill climbs in my old Lotus Elise. Now that was an expensive hobby (£500 a weekend just in tires)
Hi res audio is a waste of money, anything above CD quality is imperceptible to humans.
That's not true, I have definitely heard some Hi Res tracks. Unless I imagined them of course!
Anyway, hill walking costs loads in coats, boots, waterpoof things etc. between me, the missus and the nipper I will have spent a pretty penny.
My other hobby is hi fi and that is just frightening chasing that elusive perfect system.
I also enjoy a bit of DIY and spent about £5k last year re-landscaping our back garden, as well as a few hundred quid putting a ceiling in the garage and tiling part of it to use one side as a utility room.
Currently leveling the kitchen floor in preparation for tiling it myself and after that putting a wall mounted toilet, new sink, and tiling the downstairs look will cost about £650 I would have thought
But im also looking at a second amp build, which is expensive if you’re buying kits
