Yeah, against all expectations the shimmer is really good. None of that shrill high nonsense on some reverb pedals.

I've really grown to like this delay, it works well but for me I found the white position markers on the knobs were hard to see especially in a gig situation, so a little retro update

Just ordered some.

Now all I need is a DD-200.

But I can obviously justify getting one now I have the knobs... [GAS is a cruel mistress, pt 27]

Yeah agreed it's not overpowering or saccharine sweet like the others I've tried

Hey haven't tried it yet but my main criticism has been allayed

Version 1.1 Update: User Memory Expansion

The free Version 1.1 software update brings increased flexibility to the BOSS 200 series, greatly expanding the onboard memory capacity for storing and recalling sounds. There are now 128 user setups available. Setups can also be recalled directly via MIDI program change.

Oh that's awesome! Hopefully they do the same for the EQ-200.

They're saying on PBoD that the update takes ~30 mins so be prepared. That could easily be bullshit tho

It's very nice sounding, I'd prefer deep editing for some of the delay types but the stock sounds are nice and I only use delay for solos really

eg for tape you can choose distortion on or off but not the amount, and there's no warble or crease

I basically needed to switch between reverse and crotchet via midi in a small form factor. The midi behaviour is highly customisable actually so in that respect it is very versatile

What about selecting the presets via a midi switcher etc. Can that be done?

Yep, program change. You can map any PC number to any preset

Mine took about 45 minutes, including a failed first attempt. Thought I might have bricked it for a moment

On the DD200 if you have a separate tap tempo footswitch does the tap/memory button then just get used for changing presets?
