If nothing else, this is the first time I have had a reason to use the bag my pedalboard comes with. My guitar gig bag is covered in dust. Most likely moth-holes too

What a numpty I am! There are 7 of us today so £95 / 7 = £13.57 a piece.

I'm happy to pay the £95 if everyone wants to pay me in cash or PayPal or bank transfer?! Sorry should have stated this before today.

Just got back, had to leave after >4 hours with a bad back, but the others were digging in for the evening it seemed

what an excellent day. got to play our weird and wonderful guitars though others amps, and others weird and wonderful guitars through our own and others. All very informal, all different players.

Thoroughly enjoyed meeting you all and talking gear and playing. I think it was @sev112 who said "it's amazing how different everyone sounds playing the same gear.". Tone is in the fingers for sure.

Sorry the two of you didn't get the memo about plaid shirts as the dress code!

Really fun day until 'car park-gate' and some interesting discoveries. Most notably that ALL of the gear was good enough. From the partscasters to modded Epis through Factory Fenders to Eastman's, Gibsons and Musicmans (Musicmen?), from hybrid Fenders to Marshalls, Carrs and Ceriatones everything sounded glorious up loud.

Also great hearing other people play my kit and running my guitar through others' signal chains.

I also discovered a baritone through a fuzz face is borderline erotic.

Pleasure to hang out with you all and I look forward to the next one. Special shout out to my knight in shining armour @lovestrat74 for getting me home.
