Wondering if anyone has had a kit from Guitar Fabric, I doubt a Steinberger Spirit GE will turn up from my wanted ads so wondered about putting a kit together, these appear to be supplied from the UK so if there are issues, its not all in China….
This is the kit, its pretty expensive considering I only really want the body, neck, string retainer, and control cover plates, the majority of the rest will no doubt go in recycling, I have a “proper” Steinberger R trem in the stash….so as long as the neck and body are usuable….
Any experience with this supplier?

The single review of the headless kit on their site has the date in the US format.
The address given on the website looks like a multi-occupant building, hard to tell if their is a guitar kit manufacturing company based there.
I'm not suggesting that there is anything wrong with their products, hopefully they are excellent, but the above suggests it is worth making a few checks if you want to be sure that it is a UK based operation.
The biggest issue I had was that I needed to countersink the bridge posts to get the action down to a playable level. But as your neck appears to be a bolt on that will be less of an issue. And I should take some responsibility because I didn’t take enough care when checking before I glued the neck in.
Google Street View suggests commercial on the ground floor and residential on all floors above. A single unfurnished commercial unit would offer limited storage space. Probably a correspondence address rather than a warehouse.
They do say it was founded by two people in Lyon.
Edit, Wenge neck ordered
