Now we inexplicably have seasons.
You can go get something or you get given something?
Either way you're getting what you want.

I have been enjoying the sitcom Alma's Not Normal and in it Alma uses the word actress. Gendered words like that are disappearing a bit, stuck out to me in a recent programme (if it was the character getting it wrong it wasn't mentioned).
I also never hear twocing used anymore (my spell check didn't like it so it might not be in any dictionary). It was all the rage in the 1990s.
In theory they mean slightly different things (season means year, for some reason, in American television so you could have two or more series of a show within a season) although I agree they are used interchangeably with seasons gaining ground.
Crikey, cripes, gosh
Cheque
”draw”, when preceded by “top” or “parts”
”sort” when followed by “after”
”of” when preceded by “should”
'snow' is a word we seldom use these days cos we dont seem to fucking get any anymore.
For us guys, hot girls and women were 'fit,' and we dreamed of taking them home for 'a bit of how's your father'!
