He was funny. I think it was on MR I put this guitar up as a give away and set the RRP on my web site as a million quid, so I could claim "you could win a million quid guitar". He took it totally seriously and spent ages complaining it wasn't worth a million quid and even though I pointed out that it was a joke he still didn't get it. Sadly missed
my youngest was learning the drums and jazzy was one of the people who answered my daft questions about hitting things. Very, very few drummers on MR, he was the only regular one ( multi instrumentalists aside) I can remember.
Didn't he have a few 'altercations' with Drew?
Yes, mainly about the fact the he had a simple philosophy that if you didn't want or couldn't father kids that you weren't a 'real man' and clearly impotent - I'm not sure he ever backed it up with any real science though.
He *cough* "had disagreements" with a good fair few on here though, mainly those who would bite on his crap.... oh and old ladies with sick pets that parked in his street.
His band were on Come Dine With Me.

They were hired to play an acoustic set at somebody's dinner party so there were brief glimpses of Herbie on channel 4.
