We've got heavy cloud cover and a bit of fog in Amersham. Fuck all chance of seeing anything. Not worth getting out of bed for.

Well it's gone slightly darker here, that's it. Shame there's so much cloud cover. If I wSnt told it was happening I wouldn't know the difference.

Remember the full one a few years back-nice sunny day working on a building site and we all sat down to watch it. Eery silence from the wildlife and half hour off work.

There's been a few breaks in the clouds, but with enough cover to see it without getting burnt retinas. Absolutely worth getting up for, wonderful.

A thick blanket of cloud over SW London.

But it was very cold between about 8:50 and 9:40.

Got darker as well. I thought it was raining at one point and had the lights on inside.

Birds were more or less about their usual activities though.

Utter shite in London. Even the clouds were smothered in clouds. That's the last time I pay £20 for an eclipse ticket.
