I saw him live twice and he was great. I also once met Nigel Glockler ( spll?) who had been one of his drummers but he was a bit grumpy.
Reggae is really rather good - lots of rythmn and great to dance to. Check out Willie Nelson's reggae album

I have never got David Bowie's music thinking, on the whole, his music is shite. Ditto the Smiths, Florence, James Brown, EvH, Vai, Satriani.

Stretching the topic (sorry) ......Pedals are over-rated. Often it is like putting Ketchup on a fillet steak. (I used to love pedals so this could be an age thing).
