As some of you may be aware the marvelous @Thorpy6 is launching a new range of original designed pedals and in honour of that exciting venture he has kindly donated a rather delicious pedal for you lovely people to win.
The pedal in question is this rather sexy looking green number:
It's a "Marshall in a box" type pedal. It's not a clone of a commercially available circuit, but is a rather interesting pedal designed by a Canadian guru. It has the regular triumvirate of vol/tone/gain plus a rather interesting "body" control which shifts the mids and makes it really versatile. I actually think it nails the Marshall sound better than a DLS.
I've recorded a little demo to whet your appetite:
The plan is to mix up the format a little from last time and have two options to get involved:
Option 1: As last time that anyone making a donation to the forum paypal account will be entered into a raffle to win the pedal with one entry per £5 donated.
Option 2: The all new option of trying out the pedal for a couple of weeks in the style of the Jooky tour that happened a while back. In this option you pay £10 and the pedal gets sent to you to tinker with for a couple of weeks (you will also need to cover the cost of sending to the next person in the chain). You will also get an entry to the raffle included for your donation.
Anyone interested in the tour let me know and the address for donations is as ever: thefretboard@outlook.com
The competition duration will be determined by the number of people that fancy being involved in the tour. It's already been for a trip to visit @ttony who may be able to fill in some of his impressions.

Presumably if the tour doesn't look logistically possible ( too much or not enough interest) this will be converted into two raffle tickets ? Although forum funds over ride any personal interest obviously...
I thought I had in the notes?
As I just posted in FX - need to stop with the pedal and amp acquisition .....
