I always said that we should have gone with Raspberry Ripple or Neapolitan rather than Vanilla ;-)

No - the hosted version has a perfect editor, more or less. However, that would cost us thousands per year to use, with our traffic levels.

The Penny Arcade forum uses the open source version of Vanilla that we do and has traffic several orders of magnitude higher than ours, but they also have a budget that much higher as well as at least one full-time developer and web guy. If I had that amount of time, I'm pretty sure I could whip something up in a few weeks.

Then again, I am using an early 2015 MacBook Air with Safari.   That's that great thing about Macs......they just work.
