Yes he does.

Endorsee's usually get hefty discounts - Slash had a signature head and I know he had at least two or more shipped for free (he said so in an interview). And I wouldn't be surprised if things have changed now Jim has passed away (he hated giving stuff away). Selling amps is a cut throat business.

Glad to hear that. Why should they not need to? Endorsees are already successful musicians, almost by definition fairly well-off, and there's no reason they should get freebies when everyone else has to pay for gear. It also gives you confidence that they actually want to use it and really do.

Fair enough .. even if someone puts their name to an amp? I know Slash was rescued by Marshall after that infamous riot in which Slash's amps were trashed by angry fans. He was complimentary about Jim getting him some new gear made to replace them.

A leprechaun stopped me on my way home and by pure luck he played guitar. He said what do you want from namm jester...?  I said a mini el34 powered jcm800 built with pride and an fx loop.
