    I worked on the Hasler MkIII telex box in the late 1980s. I wonder how many they sold and whether there was ever a MkIV

    The Blues Boys used HH amplification for everything. They also carried their mains, coax & speaker leads coiled up in aluminium beer kegs, and would set up their cabs & amps on top of the kegs once they'd unloaded. Don't know if the band is still operating, but I found this on youtube

    Unimogs

    Our local fire brigades have them - we have a lot of heathland. The forestry workers hereabouts tend to have at least one as well for places a Defender or pickup just can't go.

    I do love Unimogs. Lady BMcH won't let me buy one, which is (a) a shame and (b) entirely reasonable.

    Just before I left BT I helped clear out a whole floor full of international telex equipment. Must have cost the equivalent of millions at the time. It all went into the skip.

    Biros with several selectable colours

    @MagicPigDetective ;

    I have four :) Normal one, one with sparkly blue outside, another with a silver exterior, and one with three Biros and a retractable pencil-type affair going on. Bloody marvellous things.

    Suprised that they are still being used! I hardly use any biros these days; what are you all using these multibiros for? And don’t you find them way to bulky to use?
